The Rise and Fall of Solo Salon’s
Everyone is going solo…
As an industry, we’ve seen a huge shift in stylists and therapists leaving to go solo. Why wouldn’t they? They get to make their own hours, pay themselves whatever they want AND they can work out of their own home!
But the grass isn’t always greener on the other side…
And yes, sometimes when our team leave to go Solo they come back… but there are actually a few things we can do BEFORE they even consider leaving! Sometimes, just talking to your team about what their goals are can be enough to make them stay in your Salon.
Team-based Salons are what keep our industry alive. It’s up to us as Salon Owners to make sure we create an environment where our team feel like they can grow and succeed.
I’m excited to share this conversation I had with James and Lynden from Vivo, who know all about The Rise and Fall of Solo Salon’s.
